That thought was so perfect, you attempted to write it down. However, even as you wrote, the idea faded, the meaning became warped. Your fingers stumbled over keys or your pencil broke under the pressure of your hand. Your perfect idea was lost in a flash, files unsaved or paper bruised.

Welcome to Lost Writers, a haven for those who have that driving passion, that intense desire to write, but have run up against the wall known as writer's block. If your muse has abandoned you in your time of need, don't be afraid to come here and stretch your tired fingers across the keys and ask for help, input, critisism, or just a helping hand. We're a community of writers looking to expand our knowledge, our horizons, and our friend base. We're here to help you achieve your passions, your goals. We're here to support you when you fall. We're here to lend a shoulder when the loneliness of writing has simply becomes too much.
Feel free to surf, meet new people, and post in the forums. If you want to put your work up, that's fine, but we highly recommend that if you plan on publishing in the future, you should choose a few trusted people to run your work past. We at Lost Writers have no legal right to take your ideas and publish them as our own, and have no want to. That doesn't mean that someone else won't take your work illegally and pass it off as their own. The Internet is a scary place when it comes to private being not so private. So, please, if you want to display your work for everyone to see, know that Lost Writers cannot be held liable for any stolen work.
